Poor Value for Money Plans

Medical cover abroad

Too many consumers are still insured on dated schemes that may offer good cover, but are no longer good value for money. Many members are fearful of making any changes to their cover and they simply auto-renew on the same plan each year.

Below is a sample of plans we believe should be reviewed prior to your next renewal date.

If you’re not confident to review your cover yourself, consider a fee-based review or joining a health insurance savings webinar with Dermot Goode

Please note the following:

  • The above is for guidance purposes only
  • Whilst these plans still offer good cover, we are simply making consumers aware that they may not represent the best value for money
  • We recommend that members on these plans complete a full review of their cover prior to their next renewal either with their broker or directly with the health insurers
  • Health Insurance Ireland accepts no responsibility for any changes made to your cover or health insurer unless we are engaged to complete a full fee-based review of cover.
